FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Business Process Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 5-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Barnsley.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Business Process Analyst to support and optimise their HAM operations. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in business process analysis with hands-on experience in IT asset lifecycle management, helping to drive efficiency, compliance, and strategic improvements across the HAM function.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and document current HAM processes, covering procurement, deployment, maintenance, and end-of-life/disposal stages
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend actionable process improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to streamline asset management workflows
- Support the implementation and enhancement of HAM tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera)
- Ensure HAM practices comply with internal policies, standards, and external regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track hardware asset performance and utilisation metrics
