FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to be extended after this initial period. This will be a Hybrid role based in one of 15 office locations including London, Newcastle, Leeds, York and Edinburgh.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a high-profile regulatory transformation programme. The programme is centred on ensuring regulatory clarity, operational continuity, and legal compliance, while aligning with broader departmental and governmental frameworks. Business Analysts will play a crucial role in shaping the operating model, embedding resident engagement at the heart of regulatory design, and facilitating collaboration across a complex landscape of governance, policy, legal, and digital functions.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the long-term reform of a national regulatory body, working at the intersection of public policy, service delivery, and organisational transformation.

- Supporting testing and assurance phases by validating solutions against business needs, ensuring regulatory and operational integrity
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (including service designers, user researchers, policy professionals, and delivery leads) to ensure that user needs are fully integrated into process and system designs
