About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking experienced SharePoint Developers to work for our client within the financial services sector. This is initially a 7-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

Our client is seeking experienced SharePoint Developers to support an internal regulatory remediation project focused on Marketing Materials. The programme centres on enhancing an existing SharePoint solution used for document storage and approval workflows, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements, supporting controlled content governance. This is a hands‑on delivery role working on a live platform.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and customise an existing SharePoint solution used for regulated document storage
  • Build and enhanced Power Apps forms, implementing data validation, business rules, and user-friendly submission and review workflows.
  • Design and implement approval workflows with rule‑based logic
  • Integrate SharePoint with external systems using REST APIs
  • Support regulatory remediation by improving traceability, controls and approvals for marketing materials
  • Maintain and optimise SharePoint permissions and access controls to ensure secure handling of regulated marketing materials
  • Configure and manage metadata, content types, and document libraries to support structured content governance

About You

  • Strong experience customising existing SharePoint solutions
  • Hands‑on experience with Power Apps (forms, validation, business logic)
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with external systems via REST APIs
  • Skilled in building and supporting approval workflows
  • Comfortable working with rule‑based logic in regulated or controlled environments
  • Delivery‑oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work closely with business and compliance stakeholders
Desirable
  • Experience working on regulatory or compliance‑driven projects
  • Familiarity with document governance, audit trails, or controlled content workflows
  • Clear, structured approach to delivery and documentation
