About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a People Change Consultant (Projects) to work for our client within the Financial Services / Insurance sector. This is initially a 6–12 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Cheshire, UK.

Our client is seeking a People Change Consultant to support the delivery of people change activity across a range of programmes and initiatives. The role focuses on executing people workstream plans, supporting organisational design implementation, workforce transitions, and colleague engagement activities. You will work closely with People Partners, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of change initiatives and a positive colleague experience.

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Support delivery of people workstream plans, including milestones, actions, and reporting
  • Track progress, identify risks/issues, and escalate where appropriate
  • Support organisational design implementation, including role mapping and structural changes
  • Coordinate workforce transition activity (e.g. TUPE support, consultations, documentation)
  • Assist with change management activities including communications, engagement, and training coordination 

About You

  • Experience supporting HR, people change, or transformation projects in complex organisations
  • Understanding of organisational design, workforce transitions, or change management principles
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with stakeholder engagement experience
  • Typically 2+ years’ experience in HR projects, change delivery, or similar environments
