About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an experienced Analysis Manager to support a significant strategic transformation programme within the Financial Services sector. This role is a 6 month contract and a hybrid role based in Cheshire, with approximately 50% onsite attendance required.

This opportunity will suit a senior analysis professional with strong leadership, stakeholder management and business design capabilities. You will work across multiple agile delivery teams, helping shape strategic solutions, define business requirements and drive best practice analysis across a complex programme of change. 

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead analysis activities across complex programmes and strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Take a high-level view of programme objectives, identifying opportunities, risks and solution options.
  • Work across multiple squads simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to define requirements and shape solutions.
  • Support the development and adoption of analysis frameworks, modelling standards and best practices.
  • Apply advanced modelling and business design techniques across key change initiatives.
  • Assess solution options, feasibility and business impacts, considering cost, benefit and risk factors.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and quality assurance support to Business Analysts.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision making.
  • Support programme delivery through effective planning, analysis governance and stakeholder engagement.

About You

  • Extensive experience within Financial Services, including Workplace Pensions.
  • Strong experience leading analysis teams within complex transformation environments.
  • Deep expertise in Business Analysis methodologies, business design and modelling approaches.
  • Proven experience operating within agile delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior business leaders.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and requirements definition skills.
  • Ability to influence and shape outcomes during the early stages of programme delivery.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and navigating complex organisational environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience delivering high-quality outputs at pace across large-scale change programmes.
Desirable:
 
  • Experience supporting pensions platform implementations or migrations.
  • Experience coaching and developing analysis teams.
  • Strong understanding of business capabilities, operating models and strategic change frameworks.
  • Experience working across multiple parallel workstreams within enterprise-scale programmes.
