About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Dynamics Functional Consultant to work for our client within the Public Sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a remote role that can be based anywhere in the UK.
 

Our client is seeking a Dynamics Functional Consultant to support the delivery and implementation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. The role will focus on configuring the platform to meet business and end user needs, contributing to solution design, and supporting build, deployment, and defect resolution activities. Candidates must hold BPSS clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and implementation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions in line with project goals and delivery cycles.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 to meet business and end user needs, including workflows and Power Automate solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and architects to support the design and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions.
  • Create and modify Dynamics 365 and Power Platform components, resolve defects, and contribute to functional reviews and solution discussions.
  • Deploy new and updated components through Azure DevOps pipelines and Microsoft export/import tooling, while maintaining appropriate documentation.

About You

  • Strong experience configuring and customising Microsoft Dynamics CRM, particularly within the Customer Service module.
  • Experience creating, deploying, and managing Power Automate flows using a variety of connector types, including Service Bus.
  • Experience deploying solutions through CI/CD pipelines or Microsoft export/import tooling, including resolving dependency issues.
  • Knowledge of the Power Apps Admin Centre, environment management, and the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Azure and Power Platform.
  • Experience contributing to Dynamics 365 design discussions. Knowledge of JavaScript, SharePoint integration, Outlook integration, and Web API would be advantageous.
  • BPSS clearance and eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
