About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking Delivery Managers to work with our global systems integrator client on a major Central Government Service Transformation Programme. This initiative forms part of a core-funded Service Transformation Portfolio, focused on improving operational efficiency, increasing productivity, reducing costs, and accelerating the digitisation of critical business processes.

As part of a significant programme expansion, we are seeking experienced Delivery Managers to lead multidisciplinary delivery pods responsible for designing, building, and deploying innovative low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, GOV.UK services, and no-code/low-code forms technologies. This is an initial assignment running through to March 2027, with strong potential for extension as additional discovery activity and delivery workstreams are onboarded.
The role is predominantly remote, with consultants located across London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, and Newcastle. Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration events and workshops. This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong stakeholder management, Agile leadership, and programme delivery experience. You will be responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams from discovery through implementation while ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives, governance requirements, and programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading multidisciplinary Agile delivery pods to successfully deliver digital transformation and automation initiatives
  • Managing end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies are effectively controlled
  • Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and client stakeholders to define and prioritise delivery objectives
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and delivery reviews
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and providing regular progress updates to programme leadership teams
  • Supporting the delivery of Power Platform and workflow automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and user outcomes
  • Identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies as appropriate
  • Driving collaboration across delivery pods and technical assurance teams to ensure consistent delivery standards
  • Ensuring solutions are delivered in line with governance, security, accessibility, and quality requirements
  • Coordinating deployment, transition, and release activities with technical and business stakeholders
  • Supporting resource planning, forecasting, and capacity management within delivery teams
  • Promoting continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for increased automation and service optimisation
  • Contributing to programme reporting, benefits realisation activities, and delivery governance forums

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior business and technical audiences
