About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Developer to support a large-scale digital delivery programme. The role requires a technically strong developer who can work beyond out-of-the-box configuration and deliver bespoke, code-led solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong Microsoft Dynamics experience with a broader full-stack or software engineering background.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance bespoke solutions within an existing Microsoft Dynamics platform.
  • Produce custom code to meet requirements that cannot be addressed through standard configuration alone.
  • Support the implementation and development of Dynamics-based services within a complex digital programme.
  • Work across both custom development and Dynamics configuration activities.
  • Translate business and delivery requirements into appropriate technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the design, development and ongoing improvement of the platform.
  • Collaborate with technical, delivery and programme stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues within the Dynamics environment.
  • Ensure solutions are maintainable, robust and aligned with programme requirements.
  • Bring broader software engineering experience to an environment that requires more than low-code or out-of-the-box Dynamics capability.

About You

  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Dynamics development experience.
  • Demonstrable experience producing bespoke code within or around a Dynamics implementation.
  • Experience working beyond standard Dynamics configuration and customisation.
  • Strong software engineering or full-stack development background.
  • Experience delivering technically complex Dynamics implementations.
  • Ability to understand when requirements need bespoke development rather than an off-the-shelf solution.
  • Experience working with both code and platform configuration.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
