About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, creative and experienced digital marketer to work alongside FDM’s international marketing teams and drive forward our digital activity to deliver YOY growth.  

An exciting challenge for the right candidate who really wants to shape their own role and make a real difference. The successful candidate will be passionate, have strong commercial awareness, excited by the prospect of driving forward a FTSE 250 company through digital channels. 

You will be able to quickly understand our brand, it’s aims and (B2B & B2C) audiences to help inform and develop our global digital strategy.  You will be analytics driven with an inquisitive attitude that drives you to solve problems as you come across them and a can-do attitude, happy to get stuck in and lead by example. 

You will be very organised, with very high attention to detail, able to work to deadlines and under pressure. You will have had at least three years of relevant experience in a senior digital position and be able to work effectively with limited management. You must have experience of the following: 

  • Establishing and delivering creative digital projects / campaigns, managing budgets etc
  • Defining, implementing, monitoring and reporting digital KPIs
  • SEO best practices and UX development
  • Paid media advertising - PPC, display and social advertising
  • CRM and email campaign management & other forms of digital marketing
  • Management or leadership experience  

Working with and alongside our international marketing teams, you will be responsible for the delivery of FDM’s digital activity.  Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager you will be supported by third-party providers and our internal design, production and development specialists across digital, marketing and multimedia. The Digital team currently consists of social media specialists, content writer and SEO specialist. 

  • Manage, plan, collaborate and execute Digital Marketing actions for FDM, including but not limited to Paid Media Advertising (PPC, Display, LinkedIn etc), SEO and CMS Management
  • Proactively working with marketing, sales, production and fulfilment to ensure regular campaigns are planned for and optimised from a digital perspective
  • Manage and plan budgets in relation to wider business goals and priority objectives, including cost controlling and managing digital budgets to ensure consistent returns on investment
  • Defining, monitoring and reporting on ongoing performance in coordination with Digital Marketing Agency, assessing against KPIs against goals in order to understand performance across channels
  • Customer Acquisition strategy (PPC, FB ads, SEO etc.) – managing budgets, planning and implementation, ensuring we are always delivering fantastic experiences for existing customers and successfully introducing new ones to the brand

About You

  • 2-3 years relevant experience in a senior digital position, successfully managing and executing Digital Marketing strategies and campaigns across a broad variety of channels and markets
  • Clear understanding and experience working in SEO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a daily basis
  • Experience with CMS platform WordPress
  • Experience with Digital Marketing tool stack, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, Search Console and more
  • Experience in CRM and digital user experience is a plus
  • Highly driven and motivated
  • Able to work autonomously but also work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders
