About The Role

The focus of this role is to support the People Team with all aspects of administration in a timely manner to ensure business requirements are met. This is an industrial placement opportunity is open for applications from those in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies only. Therefore this is an entry-level role; training and support will be provided during your 12 months Placement Programme with FDM. However, a high level of efficiency and organisation will be needed as we are a high-volume recruiter for our Graduate, Ex-forces, and Returners programmes. Current HR knowledge and legislation coming into the team from candidates learning which will support understanding and team knowledge growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating administration throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Creating and updating employee records and ensuring personal files are up to date and in line with records retention policies
  • Assigning tasks to other team members and the implementing Service Now for Inbox
  • Ensuring data integrity by performing regular system audits and housekeeping
  • Assisting with review and approval of absence requests in line with internal policy
  • Supporting the monthly reconciliation of Time and Attendance data
  • Providing information for payroll on joiners, movers, increases, leavers etc.
  • Conducting inductions and presentations to prepare consultants for their first placement
  • Supporting the wider People Team with ongoing projects to improve operational efficiency, implement new systems and ways of working
  • Carrying out ad hoc duties to support the People team
