About The Role

The Returners Programme Recruitment team are responsible for helping people who have had a career break get back into the workplace. It is a highly rewarding role that gives you the opportunity to meet and support a wide range of people from interesting backgrounds. You will play an integral role in the management and coordination of the Assessment Days used to assess the candidates. This role requires you to be the face of FDM for candidates coming through the process as well as being an important point of contact for key stakeholders in the business. The Returners Assessment Coordinator will be confident, professional and friendly in their approach when guiding candidates through the day and other selection stages. They will ensure candidates have all the information required to attend the virtual interviews and that those run smoothly and on time. This role will also require you to run and plan regular recruitment events and supporting the team, as required. Providing highly efficient administrative support to the UK wide you will need to be task orientated, extremely organised, able to multitask, have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to manage the high volume of work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing highly efficient and responsive administrative support to our team
  • Prioritising specific tasks in line with business requirements
  • Supporting, organising, and facilitating final stage of the assessment process
  • Sending online tests to candidates
  • Accurately recording and reporting assessment results, updating our Applicant Tracking System accurately
  • Being a source of knowledge for candidates and helping to create a positive candidate experience
  • Planning and co-ordinating recruitment events such as open mornings and workshops
  • Establishing, building and growing relationships with internal FDM staff through effective communication, consistency and highly professional service
  • Supporting Returner Recruitment administration including onboarding and right to work checks

About You

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional and outgoing approach
  • Confidence when speaking to large groups
  • Able to work individually as well as collaboratively with a team and the wider organisation
  • Capable of building and maintaining relationships across all levels
  • Flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks in a professional manner
  • Work well under pressure, prioritise and manage tasks/time in order to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, showing ownership and initiative with strong attention to details
