About The Role

We are seeking and Junior Human Resources Business Partner who can manage an effective HR function to support our operations in Hong Kong.

The role will be accountable for the smooth running of HR transactional activity and will work closely with internal departments to support our people to deliver a first-class service. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Sales team to support effective delivery to our clients and consultants
  • Overseeing the day-to-day HR operational matters throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Experience and knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance 
  • Handling employee relation cases with investigations, disciplinary's and performance management
  • Managing and overseeing the efficient running of payroll and onboarding 
  • Conducting performance reviews with our remote workforce
  • Ensuring an engaging employee experience for our staff through well-designed digital tools and positive interactions throughout their journey
  • Supporting and advising with our DEI and wellbeing initiatives 
  • Producing reports and analytics for the business
  • Establishing processes and procedures to ensure legal best-practice as required
  • Maintaining the staff handbook and policies and procedures so they are fit for purpose and in line with current legislation
  • Working closely and collaboratively with HR teams in Australia and the UK
  • Project work and administrative duties as required

About You

  • Educated to Degree level
  • 3 - 5 years plus experience
  • Proven ability to appropriately handle sensitive information required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent stake-holder management
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and strong focus on service delivery, quality and efficiency
  • Strong relationship building skills and adaptability
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate and manage people effectively
  • Robust analytical and reporting skills
  • Technically proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good command of written and verbal English

Desirable but not essential:

  • Good command of written and verbal Chinese
