As an Engineering Manager, you'll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to our client’s success. This is a senior leadership level role and will blend both technical expertise with a great passion for coaching and developing people, including advocating team wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Management of third-party suppliers to ensure solutions are performant, secure, and resilient, and meet bank objectives and client needs
- Lead and mentor a multi-skilled team to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to support business goals
- Collaborate with feature teams and third parties to identify and implement creative solutions that align with business objectives
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly to ensure timely delivery
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful implementation of projects
- Develop and document processes to improve engineering efficiency and service quality
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, fostering an environment of learning and growth within the team
- Supervise the maintenance and enhancement of service infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and efficiency
- Monitor and analyse service performance metrics to continually improve our client’s offerings
- Accept 24*7 accountability and ownership to support availability, currency and performance
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with industry standards and regulations
