About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Fraud Investigation Manager to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid based in London.

The Fraud Investigation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire fraud investigation process, from identifying potentially fraudulent activities, to conducting in-depth investigations and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This individual will lead a team of investigators, collaborate with other departments, and play a key role in reducing and preventing fraud within the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Documenting requirements from the work as supervised by Principal and Senior Manager
  • Support fraud investigations by maintaining detailed records and audit trails
  • Assist in representing the fraud function at committee meetings
  • Apply risk management principles and contribute to transformation initiatives
  • Work within agile frameworks to support fraud-related change projects
  • Collaborate with commercial, analytical, and technical teams to ensure alignment on fraud risk strategies
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior stakeholders and committees
  • Help coordinate working groups and contribute to running fraud-related projects
  • Lead and motivate a small team ensuring high-quality outputs and efficient workflows
  • Maintain a strong team ethos working efficiently and accurately under pressure

About You

Requirements

  • Experience in auditing and/or quality assurance background
  • Understanding of Risk Management purposes and change and transformation mentality
  • Understanding of agile methodology
  • Help represent the function at committee meetings
  • Ability to work in a complex cultural organisation
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to work with various technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the business
  • Experience of working alongside commercial, analytical, or technical teams
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to present to large audiences and C-level stakeholders
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst prioritising workload
  • Proven track record of people management and leadership skills – be able to manage teams and projects with demanding stakeholders and multiple workstreams
  • Able to lead and motivate a team
