Delivery Manager - UK

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Deliver Manager to work for our client within the consulting sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Cardiff, Darlington, Edinburgh, London, and Salford.

Our client is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to manage multiple projects and apply advanced and automated approaches to managing information within the tenancy. The role holder will oversee the entire lifecycle of the knowledge management phase of the projects ensuring that all project goals are met within the agreed timelines and budget.

Responsibilities

• Utilise agile methodologies to oversee project management activities, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and managing change requests and release schedules
• Support change requests and manage release schedules
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps, and ensuring that all project goals are met within the agreed timelines and budget
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, governance standards implementation, and digital heap management, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed and resolved
• Support developing implementation plans and schedules for heap engagement project and internal SharePoint migrations

Requirements

• Strong understanding of SharePoint/Teams architecture and governance standards
• Proven experience of working on SharePoint migration 
• Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to use agile methodologies effectively
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proactive and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
