About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Engineer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Dynamics Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of a CRM capability using Microsoft Dynamics. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust CRM platform to support various functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed architecture for a CRM platform capable of hosting multiple instances of varying sizes and complexities
  • Ensure a workable data model for the implementation, adhering to guidelines set by the Client’s CTO Architecture team and in collaboration with the MBTP CRM team
  • Document potential future integrations with client’s systems, such as the ERP
  • Provide detailed specifications for any customisations to Microsoft Dynamics to function as a CRM platform, including but not limited to workflows, plugins, etc.
  • Provide specifications for and configure environments as required
  • Collaborate with the QAT team to test the platform, including creating test plans, test cases, and criteria for external testing. Maintain a log of identified bugs/issues with their status and resolution
  • Develop the platform based on prioritised feedback and requirements, making necessary changes to enhance the platform
  • Create a comprehensive plan to deploy the platform to all required environments, including a deployment and rollback plan

About You

Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions
  • Strong understanding of CRM platform solution design and architecture
  • Experience with data modelling and integration planning
  • Proficiency in customising Microsoft Dynamics, including workflows and plugins
  • Familiarity with environment configuration and deployment planning
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
