FDM is seeking a Project Manager - Cyber Security in Whippany, NJ to work for our client within the financial services sector. This role is initially for 12 months and will be hybrid with requirements to be in the Whippany office 3 days per week.
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with cybersecurity experience to lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures the successful delivery of cybersecurity initiatives that protect our organization's data, systems, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage cybersecurity projects, including risk assessments, compliance initiatives (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2), incident response preparedness, and infrastructure security upgrades.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, security, legal, and business stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.
- Report project status to stakeholders and senior leadership, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party cybersecurity solution providers.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to internal cybersecurity policies and external compliance standards.
- Facilitate training, awareness, and change management as part of cybersecurity implementations.
