About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Delegated Authority Analyst to work for our client within the insurance sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a talented Delegated Authority Analyst to join a worldwide broking initiative to provide support for a project as it starts its launch in Great Britain and North America, before expanding globally through to 2026. The client is looking for the person to provide relevant data and information required at Carrier Engagement Meetings, reporting throughput and performance, market developments, risk and issue resolution and escalation and sharing Client / Broker / Insurer feedback.

Responsibilities

  • The management and tracking of the referral and override process
  • Ensuring data quality from Broking Platform and Contract Builder for reporting purposes
  • Focal point for queries and query management resolution regarding the project processes and best practice
  • Resolution of issues raised by internal stakeholders, wider carriers and auditors
  • Obtaining market agreement for contracts and contract changes, including leaders’ fees and facility administration charges
  • Oversee the production of client contract and invoicing documentation
  • Network with Facilities Operations Team to ensure delivery of draft contracts and endorsements, risk bordereaux and premium income limit monitoring
  • Provide business support to the leader of the project
  • Need to implement and deliver contractual outcomes for Canopius and the Consortium market
  • Support and develop business changes through the rollout of the project

About You

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Insurer service role
  • Delegated authority experience is an advantage, or experience in related or similar work
  • Proven experience in insurance with a desire to develop their careers in Delegated Authority
  • Experience or an interest in transformation or projects
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business
  • Enjoy working within a team environment but also proven ability to work autonomously
