About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an AI Programme Manager to work for our client within the banking sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a remote role.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned AI Programme Manager to lead the development of a cutting-edge control system leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Mobile Payments domain. This initiative will serve as a strategic use-case to expand our AI portfolio and position us at the forefront of AI-driven innovation in the financial technology space. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of a complex AI-enabled solution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring operational and strategic alignment across stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Programme Manager for a high-impact AI initiative within Mobile Payments
  • Drive programme management activities across the full delivery lifecycle, from ideation to operational readiness
  • Translate complex AI capabilities and mobile payment requirements into actionable programme plans
  • Engage and align stakeholders across technical, business, and executive levels
  • Contribute to the strategic development of our AI capability roadmap
  • Ensure delivery aligns with Target Operating Models (TOM) and supports operational readiness requirements

About You

Requirements:
  • Senior-level experience in programme management or product ownership, ideally in Agile/SAFe environments
  • Proven track record in delivering AI-related initiatives or strong understanding of AI capabilities and their application in business contexts
  • Background in Mobile Payments or Financial Technology is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in communicating with senior leadership
  • Familiarity with Operational Readiness frameworks and Target Operating Models (TOM) is an advantage
