About The Role

Coaches in Skills Lab are essential guides and mentors who facilitates learning through practice, offer tailored feedback, and motivate consultants to achieve their full potential. They play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, they help consultants gain confidence in their abilities, supporting them in applying skills in real-world situations by providing personalized feedback and support, enhancing the overall learning experience, and leading to better retention and mastery of skills. Coaches also play a crucial role in assessing FDM applicants' capabilities and fitness to join FDM, as well as support Sales analysing the clients' needs and aligning the Skills lab offering accordingly.

About You

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Skills Lab sessions, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment
  • Provide individualized feedback and support to consultants, addressing their specific needs and challenges
  • Regularly evaluate consultants' performance through observation, one-on-one interview, and assessment tools
  • Offer constructive feedback, highlighting strengths, suggesting areas for growth, marking, and uploading assessments results into the system, as well as logging the constructive feedback conversation with the consultants.
  • Design and implement practical projects that align with the learning objectives.
  • Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere, encouraging active participation and collaboration.
  • Participate in the recruitment selection process by assessing candidates’ ability to learn new concepts and apply them in practical situations.
  • Lead mock interviews by simulating real interview scenarios tailored to the industry and job roles consultants are targeting.
  • Assist consultants in crafting professional resumes that effectively highlight their skills and achievements using FDM official templates.
  • Support Sales by acting as a SME aiding account managers in client calls and proposal creation
    When required, act as technical mentor in a Skills Lab Consultant POD by guiding consultants and showing them the way to solve some technical problems.                                                
What we are looking for:
  • Postgraduate degree and above in an IT related field.
  • Relevant Industry experience of 3-5 years.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and generate training documentation in a timely manner
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and demonstrated problem solving skills both technically and functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with non-technical business owners on a technical solution.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment and within a team
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven expertise in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and working in an Agile environment.
Preferred qualifications:

Candidates should possess two or more of the following qualifications, depending on the primary practice, they will be joining:
  •  JavaScript, PHP, ASP, AJAX, and Java programming (preferably Enterprise Java)
  • AngularJS, Angular 7, NodeJS, React, and KnockoutJS
  • C#, ASP .Net, ADO .Net
  • Android Programming, PhoneGap, Cordova, Objective-C and Swift
  • Selenium, Cucumber, Kubernetes, Jasmine, Karma, JSPerf, and JSFiddle
  • DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Git, Puppet, Snort, and Splunk
  • System administration in Windows Server and UNIX environments
  • COBOL and Mainframe Systems
  • RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • Cloud Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft SSIS
  • ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and Clarity
  • Wireframe & Prototyping (MS Visio, Axure, and SketchFlow)
  • Cloud Architecture and Administration (AWS, MS Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Administering datacenters and enterprise networks
  • Penetration testing, ethical hacking, and security best practices and defense tools
  • PEGA, Blue Prism, UiPath, and Automation Anywhere
