AI Team Lead – Investment Banking | Fluent in Chinese Required (Hong Kong based)

We’re looking for a technically strong Team Lead with 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering and software development. In this role, you’ll lead a team of AI engineers and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-grade AI solutions.

On client assignment with one of the world’s top capital markets and investment groups, you’ll drive projects such as: Enhancing ResearchGPT, building AI agents for complex reasoning and automation, digitalising client onboarding, and more.

This is a chance to take the lead on high-impact AI initiatives and shape real innovation in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the Technology department, collaborate with business stakeholders, and assess business needs to develop tailored AI solutions that improve efficiency and productivity
• Conduct workshops to educate business users on AI technologies and tools
• Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers; resolve challenges and lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of AI-driven projects
• Ensure high standards of engineering quality through code reviews and best practices; analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights that support decision-making
• Build and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure to support model training and post-delivery enhancements
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence and apply relevant innovations to provide expert advice to management
