Fund admin

• Fund Analysis & Liaison:
  • Analyse fund structures and investments.
  • Liaise with operational SMEs as appropriate.
• Data Management:
  • Conduct trial balance and asset mapping activities using ETL applications.
  • Perform gap analysis of existing versus future state operational models.
  • Document and present fund data divergences to clients.
• Testing & Reconciliation:
  • Test the migration data load process and investigate data comparison differences.
  • Execute fund migration load and reconciliation activities on Multi funds production systems.
  • Conduct parallel run reconciliation and reviews, focusing on investigating and resolving issues to client satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders within the project.
  • Participate in project teams, daily stand-ups, and client meetings.
• Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve existing migration ETL applications.
  • Identify areas to streamline and introduce automation to remove manual or repetitive processes.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

• Significant FA operational experience with Asia Region Fund Product knowledge.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles.
• Proven track record of fund migration analysis and on-boarding experience.
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  Highly Desirable

• Client-facing management or change experience.
• Sound understanding of Fund Accounting Systems, particularly Multi-fonds.
• Experience with Xceptor, SQL, or other system coding.

   

  Desirable

• Mandarin language skills.
• Project Management Qualification (e.g., PMP).
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CFA.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong systems or data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in NAV pricing, trade operations, or asset servicing.
• In-depth knowledge of fund accounting reporting.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end operational and NAV processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, able to work under pressure, and deliver to deadlines.
• Good digital application and system architecture knowledge.
• Effective process design skills.
• Strong training and knowledge transfer abilities.

Educational Requirements

Degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
