About The Role

This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices; Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.

FDM is seeking a Business Analyst located in Boston to support a project in the finance sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 but may be extended.

This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to define and record content automation needs for client reporting and marketing materials.
  • Lead the development of automating client reports & marketing materials using the Seismic platform.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of template & data requirements based on existing materials alongside Client Reporting & Marketing teams.
  • Capture and transition requirements to the Seismic development team, addressing automation logic and data source advancement.
  • Maintain comprehensive requirements, updates and documentation in Azure DevOps.
  • Work closely with the data team to ensure project-specific data sets are complete.
  • Partner with business users to test and train on Seismic platform processes, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Become the subject matter expert on the Seismic library and its content automation capabilities.

About You

Requirements:

  • Proficiency as a business analyst with 3-5 years of background, exemplifying skill in excelling in a high-energy atmosphere.
  • Proven experience with SQL and Azure Data Lake will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting and performance measurement data is a plus.
