About The Role

The Skills Lab Lead Coach will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of coaches and consultants within the Skills Lab, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training and development programs. This role demands a skilled leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for coaching. The Lead Coach will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experience, driving skill advancement, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment within the Skills Lab.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and support a team of coaches, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the effective delivery of training programs.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Skills Lab management team to design and refine training curricula, ensuring alignment with industry trends and organizational needs.
  • Coaching and Training: Deliver hands-on coaching and training sessions to consultants, focusing on developing technical competencies and practical skills.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assess and monitor the progress of consultants, providing actionable feedback and personalized development plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including practice leaders and HR, to identify skill gaps and align training programs with business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all training sessions and coaching practices meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing the Skills Lab programs and processes, incorporating best practices and new technologies into the training approach.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on coaching outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to improve training effectiveness and consultant performance.
  • Engagement and Motivation: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among coaches and consultants.
  • Backlog Management: Create, refine, and prioritize product backlog items in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • User Story Development: Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Requirements Analysis: Conduct workshops and interviews to gather requirements, translating them into functional specifications and process flows.
  • Agile Collaboration: Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.


About You

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree and above in an IT or Business-related field.
  • Relevant Industry experience of 3-5 years.
  • 2+ years of experience in leadership role, preferably in a training, educational, or technical environment.
  • Strong experience in Agile Project Management, Scrum framework, and SAFe
  • Hands-on experience in Business Analysis and Product Management
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and demonstrated problem solving skills both technically and functionally
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and generate training documentation in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with non-technical business owners on a technical solution.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment and within a team
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven expertise in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and working in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for backlog and documentation management.

    Candidates should possess three or more of the following qualifications, depending on the primary practice they will be joining:

  • Data & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft SSIS, Cloud Analytics
  • Enterprise Tools: ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Clarity
  • UI/UX Design: MS Visio, Axure, SketchFlow
  • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, other RDBMS
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
  • Automation: MS Power Platform, PEGA, Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere
  • Business Practices: Project/Product Management, Business Analysis, Agile methodologies
