About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Supplier and Contract Manager to work for our client within the Public sector. This is initially a 2 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in your closest office location- 23 offices across the UK.

Our client is seeking a Supplier and Contract Manager with a specialism in Governance to ensure supplier and contractual arrangements meet rigorous compliance, legal, and risk management standards. You will develop and enforce governance frameworks and act as a key liaison with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of contract governance frameworks and processes.
  • Monitor compliance with procurement regulations, contract terms, and information governance (e.g. GDPR).
  • Conduct risk assessments on suppliers and contracts; develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage audits and ensure corrective actions are tracked and completed.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on contract drafting and dispute resolution.
  • Maintain oversight of policy updates and ensure governance standards are communicated and applied.

About You

  • Experience of the management of 3rd party contracts [Contract Management].
  • Experience in supporting or leading on new procurement activities including writing
  • Statements of Work (SoW's).
  • Relevant and recent experience in the procurement and management of 3rd party
  • contracts.
  • Good organisational skills to prioritize, plan and manage your portfolio of contracts to maximize time and productivity and to meet deadlines.
