About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a PMO to work for our global insurance client. This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Bristol.

FDM is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep Financial Crime Risk expertise to support a global financial services client through a major financial crime transformation programme. This role is a 6‑month rolling Fixed Term engagement working closely with the Global Head of Compliance and programme leadership.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Act as workstream lead for Policy, Standard and Governance, implementing the Target Operating Model.
  • Provide SME and Senior PM support across multiple workstreams, contributing to controls, risks, reporting, committees and forums, technology and data requirements.
  • Manage complex programme dependencies and collaborate across workstreams.
  • Own and lead presentation standards across the project team.
  • Support programme design in the evolving transformation strategy and operating model.
  • Conduct future‑state processes, detailed processes and RACI mapping.
  • Establish trusted partnerships with senior leadership.

About You

  • 10–15 years’ experience in large‑scale transformation programmes within global firms.
  • Experience across technology, data, process, risk appetite, policies and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of all financial crime regimes from a BA/QA perspective.
  • Ability to work holistically across technology, training, culture and multiple workstreams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a compliance and change‑management mindset.
  • Immediate availability with commitment to support the programme for 3 years minimum.
