About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Developer to work for our client within the transport sector. This is initially a 3-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role based in Manchester.

Our client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Developer to design, develop, and support custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM). The role focuses on core Dynamics development, system customisation, integrations, and technical support of existing CRM solutions used across the business.

You will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver stable, scalable Dynamics solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain customisations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE)
  • Develop C# plugins, custom workflow activities, and server-side extensions
  • Create and maintain JavaScript for form scripting, business rules, and ribbon customisation
  • Configure entities, forms, views, dashboards, and security roles
  • Develop and support SSRS reports and CRM reporting solutions
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, as well as middleware
  • Support CRM upgrades, patches, and environment releases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across test and production environments

About You

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Dynamic Developer (Dynamics 365 CRM / Dynamics CE)
  • Strong C# / .NET development experience
  • Solid experience with Dynamics plugins, custom workflows, and business process flows
  • Proficient in JavaScript for CRM form and ribbon customisation
  • Experience working with Dataverse / Dynamics data model
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics security model, roles, and permissions
  • Experience with integrations using APIs and web services
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and reporting tools
  • Experienced in using Azure DevOps or similar for source control and deployments
