About The Role

"This posting is for an immediate opening on FDM's Internal Team"

The Skills Lab is where consultants bridge the gap between theory and real world practice. Coaches play a pivotal role in developing consultants’ confidence, competence, and readiness for client projects by guiding them through immersive, hands on learning experiences.

As a Change & Transformation (C&T) Coach, you will mentor consultants to build strong foundational and advanced Business Analysis capabilities. You will facilitate experiential learning, deliver tailored feedback, and ensure consultants are fully prepared for client engagements. You will also collaborate closely with Sales and client facing teams to ensure Skills Lab training aligns with evolving market and client needs.

Coach may also be deployed to client sites to continue coaching consultants during their transition. This on-site engagement enables them to provide real-time support, gain deeper insight into client projects, technologies, and expectations, and ensure smoother integration. These insights are then shared with the Skills Lab to continuously improve training content and delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate Business Analysis fundamentals (process modelling, user stories, acceptance criteria, requirements documentation).
  • Coach consultants on BA tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, use cases, Visio, data flow diagrams).

  • Provide personalized feedback and support tailored to individual consultant needs.
  • Assess consultant performance through observation, interviews, and assessment tools.
  • Deliver constructive feedback, document assessment results, and log coaching conversations.
  • Design and implement practical projects aligned with learning objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating learning environment.
  • Participate in recruitment by evaluating candidates’ ability to learn and apply new concepts.
  • Conduct mock interviews tailored to industry roles and expectations.
  • Guide consultants in creating professional resumes using FDM templates.
  • Support Sales by acting as a subject matter expert during client calls and proposal development.
  • Serve as a technical mentor within Consultant PODs, offering guidance on problem-solving.
  • Travel to client sites to support consultants during their initial placement.
  • Provide on-site coaching to ease consultant transitions and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Observe and document client technologies, workflows, and skill requirements.
  • Share client insights with Skills Lab leadership to inform and improve training programs.
