About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Test Analyst to work for our global systems integrator client. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Solihull.

Our client is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to take ownership of functional and non-functional testing activities across multiple workstreams. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment—reviewing requirements, designing test cases, managing test data, executing test cycles, and supporting defect triage.

You’ll also support client-side UAT (particularly where clients cannot access core Call Centre systems), and help validate production deployments through live proving. Experience with Jira and Zephyr is beneficial, though not essential. Exposure to Power BI or MI/reporting is also helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements review and test planning
  • Designing and creating test scripts and test cases
  • Test data preparation, including handling CSV-based inputs
  • Execution of functional and regression test cycles
  • Defect logging, reporting, and triage
  • Retesting and regression validation
  • Producing test summary reports
  • Conducting basic non-functional tests (performance, accessibility, security)
  • Supporting client UAT activities
  • Live proving and production verification

About You

Must-Have

  • Strong understanding of test design techniques
  • Ability to execute tests and log defects clearly and effectively

Should-Have

  • Familiarity with:
    • Jira, Zephyr (or similar test management tools)
    • Automation tools such as Reflect or Selenium
  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience in (or exposure to):
    • IVR, API testing, or CCaaS platforms
    • Performance, automation, security, or accessibility testing
    • Power BI or MI reporting
