About the Role

As a Data Engineering Consultant, you will work with clients across industries to design, implement, and optimise data solutions, focusing on the following areas:

• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines
• Execute data migration from on-prem systems to cloud data warehouses
• Support the implementation and maintenance of data lake architecture
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing and manipulation
• Independently extract and prepare data from various source systems
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure as code deployment
• Support data governance initiatives and metadata management

Technical requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or Engineering is preferred. Data related degrees are also welcome.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Python programming and ETL.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and version control is a plus.
