About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Business Change Project Manager to work for a client within the UK Financial Services sector. This is initially a contract role with strong potential for extension. The position can be based in Cheshire or Glasgow with a hybrid working model.

Our client requires an experienced Business Change PM (non-technical) to lead a business-critical initiative focused on improving operational processes across key customer related activities. The programme spans multiple business areas and requires coordination of both immediate priorities and longer-term improvements.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead and coordinate multiple parallel workstreams, including remediation, tactical fixes, and long-term solution design
  • Engage and manage a wide range of internal stakeholders across business, operations, and risk functions
  • Define project scope, delivery approach, and governance structure
  • Oversee operational activities to mitigate ongoing risk and customer impact
  • Develop and articulate a full investment case, including cost estimates, benefits, and resource requirements

About You

  • Proven experience as a Business Change Project Manager within UK Financial Services (non-technical focus)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong problem-solving capability, with a structured and pragmatic approach to delivery
  • Experience defining project scope, shaping delivery approaches, and building business cases
