FDM is seeking AI Engineers to build the next generation of enterprise AI.
You’ll work on high-impact projects that take the power of frontier models from companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google and turn them into production-ready solutions for major clients in Hong Kong’s banking, finance, blockchain, betting, and fintech sectors.
This is a hands-on engineering role for people who want to do more than experiment. You’ll design, build, deploy, and optimise AI systems that solve real problems, operate at scale, and deliver measurable business value.
We’re looking for engineers who think beyond the obvious, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to shape how AI is applied in the real world, not just talk about what’s possible.
This is a fixed-term position based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Build multi-agent workflows to optimise business processes within a bank.
- Develop and fine-tune AI models and algorithms to meet project objectives and performance benchmarks.
- Build and maintain software pipelines for data processing, model training, and deployment using Python-based frameworks.
- Train, fine-tune, and optimise neural network models, including LLMs, for specific banking use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready AI applications.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate on solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor deployed solutions in production, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging AI trends, particularly in NLP and LLMs, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
