About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Delivery Manager to work for our client within the Government / Public Sector sector. This is a fixed term contract until November 2026 and will be a fully remote role. 

Our client, is seeking a Delivery Manager to support the BSR Levy Project, a high profile digital initiative delivering a new digital solution against a fixed legal implementation deadline. The successful candidate will take ownership of an established delivery function and work closely with business, technical and stakeholder groups to ensure successful delivery of an Angular based digital platform and associated services. This role will build upon delivery foundations already in place, providing leadership, governance and oversight through to completion.

Responsibilities: 
  • Lead delivery of the BSR Levy digital solution, ensuring key milestones and delivery objectives are achieved.
  • Manage the relationship between the client and Building Safety Regulator (BSR), acting as a key point of contact and ensuring stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.
  • Drive sprint planning, delivery planning and prioritisation activities across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Produce and tailor programme reporting for both customer and internal governance requirements.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
  • Oversee delivery budgets, including monitoring capital and revenue expenditure, forecasting and identifying opportunities to manage underspend effectively.
  • Work closely with technical teams delivering an Angular based solution, ensuring technical dependencies, milestones and delivery plans remain on track.
  • Support governance activities and ensure delivery remains aligned to business objectives and statutory deadlines

About You

  • 3–5 years' experience working as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager or similar role within digital delivery environments.
  • Proven experience delivering digital products and services within Agile environments, including sprint planning and delivery management.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships across business and technical teams.
  • Experience managing delivery plans, governance, RAID logs, reporting and programme controls.
  • Demonstrable experience managing project financials, budgets and expenditure reporting.
  • Experience working alongside software engineering teams and digital product teams.
  • Familiarity with modern web application delivery, ideally including exposure to Angular based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience working within the UK Public Sector is highly desirable.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS clearance.
