About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Quality Analyst (Batch Stability) to work for our client within the Banking & Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a data-focused analyst to support the Strategic Full Revaluation Capability (SFRC) platform by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of critical Market Risk reporting data. The successful candidate will investigate data issues, perform reconciliations, and deliver reporting that supports regulatory and risk management requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily data quality validation checks across SFRC batch processing activities
  • Perform reconciliations between upstream, downstream, and reporting systems
  • Investigate data anomalies, exceptions, and unexplained variances impacting reporting output
  • Produce operational, control, and management information reports for key stakeholders
  • Partner with business and technology teams to identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Build and maintain manual and automated data quality reporting processes
  • Support regulatory, audit, and risk reporting requirements through effective data governance practices

About You

  • Strong data analysis and investigative skills with the ability to identify anomalies and trends within large datasets
  • Advanced SQL skills for data interrogation, reconciliation and reporting activities
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and complex data analysis techniques
  • Experience performing data quality analysis, reconciliations and control testing across enterprise systems
  • Experience producing operational, control and management information reporting
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes and data governance principles
  • Experience with Python for reporting automation and data analysis is desirable
  • Experience working within Market Risk, FRTB, VaR, SVaR, CCR, P&L or regulatory reporting environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in data quality analysis, data governance, reporting, or business data analysis roles
