About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Transformation & Planning Leader to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension and will be a hybrid role based in Cheshire.

We're looking for an experienced transformation professional to support a large-scale strategic change programme. This role will focus on aligning business priorities, driving planning activities and supporting the delivery of operational improvements across a complex business environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and transformation activities across business functions.
  • Support senior stakeholders in defining priorities and objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and business change.
  • Monitor programme progress, risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and workstreams.

About You

  • Significant experience leading business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience operating within large, complex organisations.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
  • Experience within Financial Services, Insurance or regulated environments desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in transformation, strategy or change leadership roles.
