About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager (Data & AI) to work for our client within the healthcare sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.
 
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics projects, owning project planning, governance, RAID management, dependencies, milestones, budget control and benefits realisation to ensure successful business outcomes.
  • Manage the delivery of data platform, business intelligence, reporting, analytics, data quality, data governance and AI initiatives, translating technical requirements into clear project plans and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, working effectively within a matrix environment across technology teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to drive alignment and execution.
  • Oversee technical dependencies across cloud-based data architectures, APIs, integrations and data platforms, ensuring risks, constraints and interdependencies are identified and managed proactively.
  • Provide robust stakeholder management at all levels, including executive leadership, delivering clear reporting, challenging assumptions constructively, escalating risks early and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Drive pace, quality and continuous improvement across the Data & Analytics function, applying creative problem-solving, anticipating delivery risks and supporting the organisation's maturity progression from Level 1 to Level 3 capability.

About You

  • Experience of leading 2-3 Data and Analytics projects management
  • Practical understanding of data platforms, data products, BI, reporting, analytics, data quality, data governance and AI
  • Knows Data and Analytics architecture stack (e.g. landing zone to transformation layer to DQ to analytics layer).
  • Comfortable working matrix style with technology teams and 3rd parties
  • Understands cloud/data architecture, APIs, integration, platforms and technical dependencies
  • Behaviours- comes with the right attitude, can learn / act with speed, keeping quality at center, ask challenging questions, creative problem-solving, foresee risks in D&A projects and give inputs to exec with courage, ability to inculcate the pace in the D&A function in their maturity journey from currently L1 to L3 in 1 year, on a scale of 5.
