About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a KYC Analyst to work for our client within the financial services sector. This is initially a 3-months employment contract and will be a remote role based in Poland.

Our client is undertaking a significant Know Your Customer (KYC) remediation programme following a regulatory review and requires experienced KYC Analysts to support the review and remediation of approximately 6,000-6,500 client records within a fixed delivery timeframe.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team focused on regulatory compliance, customer due diligence, and risk mitigation. Analysts will receive training on Nordea's internal processes, systems, and quality standards before commencing production activities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end KYC reviews and remediation activities across retail, business, and corporate customer records.
  • Validate customer information and documentation against regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews and identify information gaps.
  • Review customer profiles, ownership structures, beneficial ownership data, and supporting documentation.
  • Assess customer risk factors and escalate complex cases where appropriate.
  • Document findings accurately and maintain comprehensive audit trails.
  • Ensure all cases are completed within agreed productivity and quality targets.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Control (QC) specialists and Team Leads to address remediation findings.
  • Operate in accordance with Nordea's compliance, governance, and operational risk frameworks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information appropriately.
  •  Knowledge of corporate and institutional client structures.
  • Experience working within Nordic or European banking environments.

About You

Based on your existing knowledge and experience, you will complete a two-week upskilling programme in our Skills Lab to ensure you are fully prepared for your role.
  • Previous KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), or client onboarding experience within banking or financial services.
  • Experience reviewing customer documentation and verifying regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of AML/KYC regulatory frameworks and financial services compliance obligations.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, target-driven environment.
  • Strong written English communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting KYC remediation or regulatory lookback programmes.
  • Experience using client lifecycle management or KYC platforms.
  • Knowledge of corporate and institutional client structures.
  • Experience working within Nordic or European banking environments.
