About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Implementation Manager to work for our client within the Capital Markets & Wealth Management sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.
 
Our client is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic SaaS transformation programme focused on Corporate Actions operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving implementation and migration activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, overseeing UAT activities, and ensuring successful adoption of the target platform. This role requires a strong blend of Capital Markets domain knowledge, programme delivery experience, and technical capability, particularly in data analysis and migration validation. SQL and data reconciliation experience are highly desirable.
 
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and migration strategy for a Corporate Actions SaaS platform, including planning, execution, cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage project governance, stakeholder communications, RAID logs, status reporting, and executive updates throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Coordinate UAT activities, including test planning, defect triage, issue resolution, business readiness, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Oversee data migration activities, including data mapping, reconciliation, validation, and operational readiness planning.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, and Business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the target solution.
  • Lead and mentor implementation teams, ensuring delivery milestones, quality standards, and programme objectives are achieved.

About You

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience delivering SaaS implementations within Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services.• Proven experience leading
  • Corporate Actions implementations, migrations, onboarding programmes, or platform transformations.
  • Strong experience managing UAT planning, defect triage, issue resolution, testing coordination, and business readiness activities.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills with experience producing governance reporting, implementation updates, RAID management, and executive communications.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform data analysis, migration validation, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience developing and executing migration strategies, including cutover planning, data mapping, operational readiness, and team leadership across complex implementation programmes
