About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Interim Bid Leader to work for our client within the Healthcare sector. This is initially a 4 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Finalise the end-to-end completion and finalisation of the RFP response through to BAFO submission.
  •  Coordinate final inputs across commercial, legal, operational, technical and leadership stakeholders.
  •  Review and challenge all response content to ensure it is complete, consistent, compliant and aligned to the RFP requirements.
  •  Review and validate key schedules, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies and submission requirements.
  •  Review MSAs and associated contractual documentation, identifying key obligations, risks, deviations and areas requiring clarification or escalation.
  •  Ensure contractual and commercial positions are accurately reflected in the final response.
  •  Manage the final review and sign-off process, tracking outstanding actions and ensuring deadlines are met.
  •  Prepare executive-level presentations, briefing packs and talking points for senior leadership and governance meetings.
  •  Develop concise executive briefings covering key messages, commercial position, risks, opportunities, decisions required and recommended actions.
  •  Coordinate leadership reviews and ensure executives are fully briefed ahead of customer meetings, presentations and negotiations.
  •  Review and quality-assure final reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, completeness and executive-readiness.
    Consolidate feedback from stakeholders and ensure agreed changes are incorporated into final deliverables.
  •  Maintain a clear view of outstanding risks, issues, actions and decisions ahead of BAFO.
  •  Support BAFO strategy development, including final commercial, contractual and solution positioning.
  •  Ensure all final documentation is submission-ready and aligned with governance, approval and compliance requirements.
  •  Provide final assurance to leadership that the RFP/BAFO response is complete, commercially sound, contractually understood and ready for submission

About You

  • Proven experience leading complex RFP, RFQ and BAFO responses through to final submission, with responsibility for coordinating cross-functional contributors and managing delivery against tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management environments, with working knowledge of ITIL principles and an appreciation of how service operations, governance, service levels and continual improvement frameworks influence bid responses and solution design.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, challenge and refine bid content to ensure compliance, consistency, quality and alignment with client requirements, contractual obligations and evaluation criteria.
  • Experience reviewing commercial and contractual documentation, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), with the ability to identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, areas of non-compliance and key negotiation points.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience coordinating senior leaders, commercial teams, legal teams, technical specialists and operational SMEs to achieve agreement and secure approvals.
  • Ability to develop executive-level briefing materials, presentations and governance papers, clearly articulating commercial positions, risks, opportunities, recommendations and decision requirements.
  • Excellent programme and bid governance skills, including risk and issue management, quality assurance, review and sign-off processes, ensuring all submissions are complete, compliant, commercially robust and ready for customer presentation and submission.
