About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Operating Model Business Analyst to work for our client within the Asset Management sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid (50% home/office based) role based in London.

Our client is seeking an experienced Operating Model Business Analyst to support a strategic business integration programme. The role will focus on understanding the current operating model, identifying opportunities for alignment and efficiency, and supporting the definition of the future target operating model. Working with SMEs across business, operations and technology functions, you will partner with key stakeholders to analyse capabilities, processes and services while helping to shape recommendations that support programme objectives.

 Responsibilities:
  • Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand current business processes, capabilities and operating models.
  • Document and analyse current-state processes, services and supporting technology.
  • Facilitate process and capability mapping across multiple business functions.
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support target operating model design, transition planning and programme delivery.

About You

  • Proven experience supporting post-merger integration programmes, acquisitions or business consolidation initiatives.
  • Strong experience reviewing and designing large-scale operating models within business change and transformation programmes.
  • Experience working within Asset Management and private assets environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, process analysis and business capability mapping experience.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and business architecture skills, with exposure to operating model design and transformation initiatives.
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst delivering operating model, transformation, integration or business architecture projects.
