FDM is a global
business and technology consultancy seeking Power Platform Developers to work
with our global systems integrator client, supporting a number of high-profile
business transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in designing,
developing, and enhancing Microsoft Power Platform solutions that streamline
business processes, improve user experiences, and support the delivery of
critical organisational services.
This is initially a
4-month assignment starting as soon as possible, with a predominantly remote,
UK-based working arrangement and occasional travel to client sites in Bristol,
Blackpool, or a client office location for workshops and project activities.
This is an excellent
opportunity for an experienced Power Platform professional who enjoys hands-on
development, working within multidisciplinary delivery teams, and delivering
scalable low-code solutions within complex enterprise environments.
All candidates must hold or be eligible to undergo SC
clearance prior to starting in the role.
About the Role
We are seeking a
Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support solutions across a range
of business transformation projects. You will work closely with Delivery
Managers, Business Analysts, Product stakeholders, Solution Architects, and
other technical specialists to deliver robust and user-focused applications,
automations, and reporting solutions.
The role is
delivery-focused, supporting the development of digital solutions that improve
operational efficiency and user outcomes. You will be responsible for
translating business requirements into technical solutions using the Microsoft
Power Platform suite, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with
project objectives.
You will form part
of a blended delivery team working alongside client and consultancy
stakeholders, contributing to the successful delivery of multiple workstreams
within a dynamic programme environment.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and
maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and
Power Platform technologies
- Translating business
requirements into scalable and supportable technical solutions
- Developing canvas and
model-driven applications to meet user and business needs
- Building and maintaining
automated workflows using Power Automate
- Integrating Power Platform
solutions with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and other enterprise systems
- Collaborating with Business
Analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to refine requirements and
solution designs
- Supporting testing, defect
resolution, and deployment activities
- Producing and maintaining
technical documentation for developed solutions
- Ensuring solutions adhere to
security, governance, and quality standards
- Providing progress updates
and delivering development activities within agreed timelines
