Our Veterans Career Program is designed specifically for people looking to transition from the armed forces into a new career in business and technology consultancy. We appreciate the skills and experience of those who have served and how they can be transferred to a wide range of related civilian roles.

Since 2012 FDM’s Veterans Program has provided a next step for over 1,000 people globally, offering opportunities for former military personnel from all ranks and branches of the armed forces. No university degree required.

Serving a wide variety of industries, we can offer our consultants a career path in their most suited field.  We help you develop and build on your strengths, behaviors, knowledge, and ability with hands-on, industry-relevant coaching, and place you on assignments with leading global companies.

Software Engineer
Build full-stack web applications using Java and React, developing scalable, secure solutions that support real-world business needs and deliver great user experiences.

Business Analyst
Analyze systems and processes to uncover insights, define requirements, and recommend improvements that help organizations operate more efficiently and make smarter decisions.

Project Manager
Lead projects from planning to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful outcomes aligned with business goals.

Production Support Engineer
Monitor live systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with teams to minimize downtime and ensure critical services run smoothly and reliably.

Cybersecurity Analyst
Monitor systems for threats, investigate incidents, and deploy security controls to protect data and defend against evolving cyber risks.

About You

What we look for

  • Previous career in the armed forces
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • A keen interest in business and technology
  • Commitment to at least two years of full-time employment with FDM following the training period
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
  •  Please note that all client assignments will require on-site work in client offices. Office locations may include, but are not limited to, New York Metro, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Chicago, and Boston
