About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Electronic Trading Infrastructure & Network Engineering Project Manager to work for our client in the banking sector. 

You will be working for our client who is a prestigious global Investment Bank and a leader in the financial industry, driving innovation and excellence in electronic trading and investment services. As an experienced Electronic Trading Infrastructure & Network Engineering Project Manager you will ensure the successful delivery of key network engineering projects. You will work closely with stakeholders and team members to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. 

About You

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle of electronic trading infrastructure and network engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Coordinate, track, and drive forward multiple projects across London and regional locations, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and objectives are met.
  • Oversee application migrations, exchange connectivity, and infrastructure security as part of the electronic trading infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure robust network engineering solutions, including server platforms, network infrastructure, and security protocols.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and team members to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of managing the full project lifecycle for infrastructure and Network Engineering projects. 
  • Excellent skills in project definition, analysis, planning, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation. 
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. 
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Extensive experience managing electronic trading infrastructure projects, including application migrations and exchange connectivity. 
  • Strong knowledge of FX, Rates, and Credit electronic trading platforms. 
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects covering server platforms, networks, and infrastructure security. 
  • Solid technical knowledge of networking fundamentals, switching, routing, TCP/IP, LAN, MAN, and WAN connectivity.
