About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and passionate People Team Advisor who thrives in a constantly changing environment.

In this fast-paced role, you will work closely with the People teams to provide client groups with a high quality, responsive and proactive HR service. You will be assisting the team to support c.2000 UK consultants and internal employees in all stages of their employment from on-boarding, career progression, performance management, employee engagement, wellbeing and offboarding.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the first point of contact, advising and supporting employees and managers on a variety of HR matters, including contracts, employment law, policies and procedures
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and senior leaders in order to better understand their needs and provide appropriate HR related support.
  • Oversee employee enquiries through monitoring the central email inboxes and resolving issues in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Support consultants whilst on assignment by being their first point of contact for ad hoc queries, conduct regular career development conversations and confidently benchmark salaries.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, performance and flexible working, with support from more senior team members where required.
  • Support the team with ensuring companywide compliance of policy by updating them in line with ever-changing employment legislation.
  • Support the delivery of the People strategy in the communication, implementation and measurement of key people initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

About You

  • Experience within a similar People/HR Advisory position, operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to establish, build and maintain strong relationships.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a focus on service delivery and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work well both within a team and independently, as well as know when to escalate queries.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task with a ‘can-do’ attitude and positive work ethic.
