This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (eg. H1-B) for this position.

FDM is seeking an Application Support Analyst in New York City to work for our client within the financial services sector. This role is initially for 12 months and will be hybrid with requirements to be in the NYC office 3 days per week.
Responsible for maintaining application systems that are beyond the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the EQD trading systems and be the go-to person for Trader support.
- Analyze issues, debug logs, verify issue, draft requirement or solution, track resolution, verify and implement.
- Provide technical expertise to internal teams regarding in-house- Execution Management System (EMS) that allows traders to interact with the market place to execute orders.
- Prepare internal systems for the rollout of the new platforms and tools, while efficiently and effectively resolving complex system integration issues.
- Day to day activities
- Monitoring ITRS to make sure healthy prod environment and stability.
- Onboarding of new client setup
- Daily BAU tasks (e.g. investigating order rejects)
- Handling queries from Trading desk, Risk, Compliance and operations.
- Running SQL queries to fetch trades or create reports.
