About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Migrations Analysis Manager to work for our client within the insurance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Edinburgh.

Our client is seeking an experienced Migrations Analysis Manager who has experience working on migration analysis, planning and strong stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be managing two workstreams and will be responsible for the experienced business analysts who are working on the project. The role holder will be supporting the Head of Change and Senior Lead Analyst in the successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts within the migration programme
  • Work on multiple projects at any one-time, managing workload and priorities across all projects whilst adhering to fixed deadlines
  • Facilitate scoping and business priority setting for large or complex changes, engaging senior stakeholders as required
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in workshop facilitation enabling requirements to be elicited from stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Support the development and adoption of company-wide modelling approach and techniques, taking on advanced modelling for significant projects or programmes of change
  • Identify alternatives, assesses feasibility, and recommend new approaches considering Risk, Cost and Benefits

About You

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an analytical role
  • Experienced people manager with ability to provide support and guidance to your team on analysis techniques and have oversight of projects they are working on
  • Financial Services experience within Pensions is a key requirement for this role
  • Expert in establishing and maintaining relationships with senior business stakeholders across the full range of business areas
  • Expert in Business Analysis and related Modelling, design, and Business Concepts
  • Advanced in communicating complex concepts and articulating principles and drivers for change
  • Advanced understanding of business structure and key business principles
