About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Supplier Manager in offboarding  to work for our client within the insurance sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.  

Our client is seeking a Senior Supplier Manager join their dynamic Commercial & Supplier Management team. In this strategic role, you will play a pivotal part in planning and delivering high-impact supplier offboarding and transition programmes across the organisation. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and internal teams to ensure risk-mitigated, regulatory-compliant, and operationally sound exits that protect and enhance business continuity.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a consulting or project management background—particularly within outsourcing, supplier transition, or offboarding programmes in regulated sectors such as Asset Management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the planning and execution of supplier offboarding and transition programmes
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders to align on commercial and operational offboarding strategies
  • Analyse complex supplier contracts to identify risks, obligations, and opportunities
  • Develop actionable insights and plans to support decision-making and programme delivery
  • Produce high-quality executive-level reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless transitions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements throughout the offboarding lifecycle
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our offboarding frameworks and best practices

About You

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant consulting or change/project management experience
  • Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of contracts, supplier management, and negotiations
  • Experience supporting or leading large-scale transition or offboarding programmes
  • Ability to structure and resolve complex problems with clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creation of executive-level reports and packs
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across internal and third-party teams
  • Familiarity with Asset Management sector operations and regulatory environments
  • Professional project qualifications such asPRINCE2, PMP, are advantageous
  • Background in outsourcing or offboarding programmes, ideally in regulated sectors
