Our client is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of complex programmes and services. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, product, UX, research, and policy—to ensure alignment on strategy and priorities. Your role will span delivery leadership, financial accountability, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement, all while fostering a culture of collaboration and agility. This is more than a delivery oversight role—it's a strategic position that will shape how they build, deliver, and scale innovative services.
Responsibilities
- Shape and maintain a forward-looking delivery roadmap aligned with business priorities
- Lead the full delivery lifecycle from discovery through to delivery and iteration, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to drive alignment and decision-making
- Champion delivery best practices and support teams in enhancing ways of working, sharing insights, and embedding standards
- Define, track, and act upon key performance indicators to monitor delivery health and inform decision-making
- Own programme budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, financial accountability, and value for money
- Partner with business and technology teams to ensure smooth service launches that deliver tangible value
- Lead agile ceremonies across multiple initiatives, coach teams on agile principles, and ensure consistent delivery rhythms
- Proactively identify and resolve key blockers, removing impediments to progress and facilitating clear pathways to success
- Lead the creation and evolution of business cases throughout the project lifecycle, embedding strategic alignment and best practices
