About The Role

This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices; Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.

FDM is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Developer located in Chicago, IL to support a project in the financial sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 months  but may be extended.

This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.

This role is ideal for a full stack developer with hands-on experience in Dynamics 365, Azure technologies, and a strong understanding of security roles, account management, and platform integrations. Familiarity with AI capabilities within the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM and ERP modules).
  • Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics and internal platforms (e.g., SAP, Foundry, Anaplan, Power Platform).
  • Develop plugins, workflows, and custom entities using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and PowerApps.
  • Implement and manage security roles, access controls, and account hierarchies within Dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Leverage Copilot Studio and AI tools to enhance CRM dashboards and automate insights.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and development processes.

About You

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proven full stack development experience (front-end and back-end).
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Azure services.
  • Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, CDS).
  • Familiarity with Copilot Studio and AI-driven CRM enhancements.
  • Understanding of enterprise security roles and account management structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Developer Associate, Azure Fundamentals).
