About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a number of Dynamics 365 Developers to work for an end client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a remote role with the occasional travel to the client’s office in Solihull. 

The focus of these roles will be around Dynamics Customer Service, specifically hands-on coding for a suite of applications which have been built on top of a CRM. Our consultancy client has developed all of the systems across a variety of public services. The ideal candidate will have proven commercial experience and knowledge in Dynamics 365 Customer Services (ideally also Marketing & Sales), as well as Azure Logic Apps and C#. You will also possess a solid understanding and experience with APIs and Integrations.

Playing a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance our business processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of Dynamics 365 applications. 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of custom solutions within Dynamics 365, ensuring they meet business needs and align with best practices
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation
  • Customise and configure Dynamics 365 applications to meet specific business requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for Dynamics 365 applications
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and integration activities
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Contribute to the growth of the Complex Case Management team capability

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 development and customisation
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform hands-on development = CRM, Customer Services (D365 Sales and Marketing modules are nice to have).
  • Strong knowledge of C# .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
  • Proven experience with Azure Logic Apps
  • Strong experience in developing with APIs and Integrations.
  • Working with and within DevOps practices
